In my discussion, I already told you that Ms. Jackson is also going through multiple other diseases like high BP, pulse fluctuations, anxiety, depression, and stress, and to overcome these issues American Cancer Society (ACS) has made effective strategies for early detection of cancer and also about treatment and prevention of Cancer (Fontham et al., 2020). This society also focuses on self-care or self-management strategies because Patients with Cancer need moral support to stay encouraged and to get healthy lifestyles. Cancer is considered to be a disease in which patients go through trauma due to weight loss, hair fall, and other symptoms that affects their overall physical condition. I guide Ms. Jackson to eat healthily and to stay related mentally is a key factor that can improve her overall physical condition. (Kwekkeboom et al., 2020)
In our intervention, we focus on patient safety, patient satisfaction, and also on patient moral support. Patient safety programs must be supported to appropriately engage patients, enhance patient satisfaction, and listen to patients’ needs. Along with Patient Safety Strategies, I also provide moral support to Ms. Jackson because self-management is considered to be a vital aspect of getting good quality care. Moreover, I also told her about the latest technologies like Telehealth and Electronic Health Records (EHR) with which she can get medical attention from home as well (Lonergan et al., 2020). Furthermore, various Cancer awareness programs are established to aware people of the early detection of Cancer and also about how to overcome depression, anxiety during cancer treatment and also in these programs we provide knowledge to the patients about self-care like a healthy diet and precautions that can help them to recover fast. I as a nurse introduce all about that programs to Ms. Jackson. After receiving m all interventions, Ms. Jackson is looking quite satisfied and motivated, and just because of this risk of other diseases like BP, and Depression can decrease (Wu & Lee, 2019). NURS FPX 4900 Assessment 5: Intervention Presentation and Capstone Video Reflection. Moreover, Ms.Jackson can apply these interventions (Self-management, Safety, technologies, etc) by focusing on self-care (eating healthy, staying motivated, etc) and thinking positively, and keeping keep doctors or nurses updated via phone calls about her situation.
Evidence and Literature Review to Plan and Implement Capstone Project
Planning is quite difficult for us but the focus of our project is on the implementation of interventions for patients’ health. The basic concern of patient health is dependent on self-management, Digital health technologies, cost reduction, and safety. For that purpose, multiple studies and organizations have developed interventions and evidence like the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) provided guidelines regarding the early detection of Cancer and its treatment (Patel et al., 2020). Moreover, this society also gives knowledge about self-management as a basic concern to recover soon from Cancer. Most people after being diagnosed with Cancer lose hope and motivation and for that purpose, the basic concern of every organization is self-management to motivate patients and give them healthy lifestyles.
Moreover, the United States (US) Centers and Disease Control (CDC) also provides evidence that Cancer patients require Safety because due to Cancer treatment they can go through multiple infections like Dengue, COVID-19, or viruses, and to avoid their safety precautions are also necessary. (Jani et al., 2022) Furthermore, in 1996, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) developed the Affordable Care Act (ACA) to provide information to Cancer Patients that they do not have to worry about the Cost of treatment as multiple insurance policies can reduce the cost of treatment (Glied et al., 2020).
Furthermore, multiple Cancer awareness programs are initiated to provide knowledge about the stages of Cancer, precautions to take to avoid Cancer Disease, and the complete symptoms of Cancer. In fact in multiple countries nowadays campaigns and seminars are conducted to motivate Cancer patients like Pink Day, World Cancer Day, etc. These awareness programs provide knowledge that with treatment, patients also need motivation, a healthy diet, exercise, staying positive, and not taking depression to get a healthy lifestyle. So nurses had been provided with the knowledge that they had to provide complete details to the patients and encourage them to stay happy and healthy and avoid depression (Kasgri et al., 2022). With complete knowledge and moral support, Cancer patients can use those interventions to get a healthy lifestyle. Moreover, multiple seminars and Cancer awareness programs are also developed to give knowledge to the patients but someti
